Jordyn Tipsword, M.S.

Jordyn is a clinical extern at the Clinic for Emotional Health and a member of the STARRC research team. She has previous experience as a survivor advocate and is especially interested in interventions aimed at improving outcomes for those who have experienced sexual and intimate partner violence. In addition, Jordyn is a current graduate student in the Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology at the University of Kentucky. Her research interests broadly focus on the emotional impact of experience with interpersonal trauma and she is particularly interested in exploring trauma-related outcomes among those experiencing self-focused emotion (e.g., shame, self-disgust).
