Jordyn Tipsword, M.S.

Jordyn is a current graduate student in the Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology at the University of Kentucky. She is mentored by Dr. Christal Badour and is a member of the STARRC research team. She has previously served as a survivor advocate and is especially interested in interventions aimed at improving outcomes for those who have experienced sexual and intimate partner violence. In addition to providing individual treatment at CEH, Jordyn also provides individual CBT treatment to clients at the UK Harris Center. Jordyn’s research interests broadly focus on the emotional impact of experiences involving interpersonal trauma and she is particularly interested in exploring trauma-related outcomes among those experiencing self-focused emotions (e.g., shame, self-disgust).
